About Circles​

What is a Circle?​

A Circle is a group of sellers (merchants) managed by a community administrator. Think of it as a "quality seal" — the admin is responsible for ensuring that the sellers in the group are trustworthy.

Do I need to choose a Circle to buy?​

The system automatically recommends the best Circle for you. But if you want, you can choose manually based on reputation, speed, or personal preference.

Do different Circles have different prices?​

For now, prices are standardized by the protocol. In the future, Circles may have different conditions.


About Security​

Is my money safe?​

Yes. Each Circle has a protection fund made up of:

  • Seller deposits
  • Admin deposits
  • A portion of each transaction

If something goes wrong, this fund is used to reimburse you.

What if the seller disappears with my money?​

  1. Open a dispute in the app
  2. The Circle Admin reviews it
  3. You get reimbursed from the protection fund
  4. The seller is penalized and may be banned

What if the Circle Admin is dishonest?​

  • All decisions are recorded on the blockchain
  • You can contest any decision
  • The P2P.me team can intervene
  • Dishonest admins lose their deposit

About Disputes​

How do I open a dispute?​

  1. Go to the problematic transaction
  2. Click "Report problem"
  3. Describe what happened
  4. Attach evidence (screenshots, receipts)

How long does it take to resolve?​

  • The admin has up to 7 days to decide
  • If they don't decide, they get penalized
  • Urgent cases are usually resolved in 24-48h

Can I contest the decision?​

Yes. If you disagree:

  1. Click "Contest decision"
  2. The P2P.me team will review
  3. If you're right, the decision is reversed
  4. The admin may be penalized

About Changes​

Will the app change?​

The user experience stays practically the same. You'll only notice:

  • Information about the Circle in transactions
  • Option to choose Circle (optional)
  • New dispute process

Do I need to do anything?​

No. Everything works automatically. You just need to keep using the app normally.

When does this take effect?​

The launch is being done gradually. You'll be notified when it's available in your region.
